On Lidija Dimkovska

I find Lidija Dimkovska's "Wannsee Diptych" poem extraordinarily moving. I once visited the gates of that house with a German painter friend of mine whose father was a Nazi -- the neighborhood did smell of grilled fish and sausage and beer. The son hated the father with a passion. Frank T. Csongos
