Artist Statement
by Daniel Finnigan
Author's Links

Born in Sacramento, 1972, Daniel grew up climbing Idaho water towers. After sojourn stays in San Francisco and Salt Lake City he now calls New Orleans home. His paintings are sleak, hypnotic, and dangerous. Despite degrees in philosophy, crime, and breakfast, the work remains heir apparent to an invisible bird gesture.

I work from nouma: wholistic form and radiance. My work can only be understood on its own terms. It makes no statement other than what it is. It is indefensible.
