Ars Poetica Dada

If parables refuse to treat conscience as genius,
then someone must insist upon inequalities.

At any cost, it is necessary to re-connect rewards to principles,
not in allegorical bureaucracies but ethereal games,
which convolute injustice, the injustice which clarifies.

We crawl to no accidental nothingness,
since we know that the accident lies behind our teeth.

Our poem is an obedient memory of voices heard.
It can be primarily dramatized, then unchained
and communicated at random, so that it ceases to be
a kind of dear room of anarchistic autobiographies,
but only in an anxious saintly sense.

Instead, it may be seen as the agilility of the genius of axioms,
who can push over anything he jumps.

Our weary ids hide from his archetypal figure
with kisses, while wisdom reads:
"Is this poem like a crab?"
But some of us abolish slop.
"Your secret admirer is a beautician of the persnickety!"

Our whispers will be windowless
denials of conscience.
We long for
a torturer's calm demoralizing.

Dada-Melancholia

If a knife had the ability
          to change this vacuum
I'd pray for all the sharpness in the world
congregated here in this vampire heart.

As a rose mildly gives thorns to the tongue,
Accept this queen's brutal appointments -
they extend from a memory of your adolescence
into shameful mazes you are obliged to traverse on your belly.

Must at least one decade pass too quickly?
Her trial reveals the zombie in you -
so-called objective reality comes from her -
and so your psyche leaps
from the cliff of dying hope.
Look! She is the deathly gardener.
