Artist's Statement

3T was born of Zoroastrian parents in Kenya, East Africa and grew up in London from the age of ten. Trained in theatre design, she spent two and a half years as apprentice to a master scenic artist in England. She spent many years as an ambient architect within the rave culture and over the last eight years she has traveled extensively.

3T recently spent two and a half years as a volunteer sailor, researcher and diver on board the Research Vessel Heraclitus which has been sailing the seas for twenty-five years and is currently carrying out an ongoing planetary coral reef research expedition, run by the internationally renowned Planetary Coral Reef Foundation.

Artist's statement:

"there is nothing to be done except to find out why we are here"
